首相の記者会見・演説・首脳会談の要旨は、首相官邸のホームページで英語でも発表されています。その英文から時事英語として役立つ文を選び、和訳と「ことばの解説」をつけました。自分の国のニュースなので中身が分かりやすく、英字新聞の日本の記事を読む力がつきます。

政府の英語は、concur（一致する）、reaffirm（再確認する）、status quo（現状）のように、英字新聞の日本の記事にもそのまま出てくる語が多いのが特長です。
