This is a sunflower. It is big and yellow. It looks like a little sun.
Do sunflowers look at the sun all day? Yes and no!
Young sunflower plants move. They do not have yellow flowers yet. In the morning, they look east. The sun is there. During the day, they turn and turn. In the evening, they look west.
At night, there is no sun. But the young plants turn back. In the morning, they look east again. They wait for the sun!
Then the big yellow flower opens. Now the sunflower stops turning. It looks east all day. Why? The morning sun makes the flower warm. Bees like warm flowers. Many bees come!
So, do sunflowers follow the sun? Young ones do. Old ones wait for the sun and the bees!
