Answers: 1. A library. 2. A newspaper. 3. Your brain. 4. Pencil lead.
Why? A story is a tale in a book, but a story is also a floor of a building. A library has thousands of stories!
In riddle 2, a newspaper is black and white, and people have read every part of it. Say it out loud. Read sounds just like red! A pencil gets duller when you use it, but your brain gets sharper. And the black part of a pencil comes out of the ground, and then it goes into wood.
read(読んだ)は red(赤い)とまったく同じ音なのです!
