Ella the elephant gets a new computer. She is very happy.
ゾウのエラのところに、新しいコンピューターが届きました。エラは大喜びでした。
"Now I can write emails to my friends!" she says.
「これで友だちにメールが書けるわ！」とエラは言いました。
She opens the box. There is a computer. There is a keyboard. And there is a mouse.
箱を開けると、コンピューターが入っていました。キーボードもありました。そして、マウスも。
"A mouse!" Ella screams. She runs out of the room. She runs out of the house. She runs up a tree!
「ネズミよ！」エラは悲鳴をあげました。部屋から飛び出し、家から飛び出し、木にかけのぼってしまいました！
Her friend Leo the lion comes to help. "Ella, it is not a real mouse. It is a computer mouse!"
友だちのライオンのレオが、助けにきてくれました。「エラ、本物のネズミじゃないよ。コンピューターのマウスだよ！」
Ella comes down slowly. She looks at the mouse. "Hmm. It has a long tail," she says. "I don't like it."
エラはゆっくり下りてきて、マウスを見ました。「うーん。しっぽが長いわね」とエラは言いました。「やっぱり好きじゃないわ」
Many people say that elephants are afraid of mice. A computer mouse is a small tool. This one has a long cord, like a tail.
ゾウはネズミがこわい、とよく言われます。コンピューターのマウスは小さな道具です。このマウスには、しっぽのような長いコードがついていました。
