Riddle 1: What has keys, but it cannot open a door?
なぞなぞ1：key（鍵）をたくさん持っているのに、ドアを開けられないものは何？
Riddle 2: What gets wet when it dries?
なぞなぞ2：ものを乾かす（dry）と、自分はぬれてしまうものは何？
Riddle 3: What has a head, a foot and four legs, but it cannot walk?
なぞなぞ3：head（頭）と foot（足）があって、脚も4本あるのに、歩けないものは何？
Riddle 4: What has a ring, but no finger?
なぞなぞ4：ring（リング・指輪）はあるのに、指はないものは何？
Answers: 1. A piano. 2. A towel. 3. A bed. 4. A phone.
答え：1. ピアノ 2. タオル 3. ベッド 4. 電話
Why? A piano has many keys, but they are not door keys. A towel dries your body, and then the towel is wet. A bed has a head and a foot, too. And a phone can ring, ring, ring!
どうしてでしょう？ ピアノにはたくさんの key（鍵盤）がありますが、ドアの鍵ではありません。タオルで体を拭くと、体は乾きますが、今度はタオルがぬれます。ベッドにも head（頭を置く側）と foot（足を置く側）があります。そして電話は、リン、リン、リンと ring（鳴る）します！（ring には「指輪」と「鳴る」の2つの意味があります）
