Should high school students be allowed to work part-time? / I believe high school students should be allowed to work part-time. First, working teaches students the value of money. For example, when they earn money by working for hours at a convenience store, they think more carefully before buying things. Second, a part-time job gives students social experience. They learn how to talk politely with customers and work with adults. Of course, students should not work so much that their grades fall. For these reasons, I support part-time jobs for high school students.
Should high schools keep school uniforms? / I think high schools should keep school uniforms. First, uniforms save students time and trouble. Without them, students would have to decide what to wear every morning, which can be stressful. Second, uniforms make differences in family income less visible. If students could wear anything, some might feel embarrassed because they cannot afford fashionable clothes. As a result, everyone can focus on studying rather than on appearance. For these reasons, I believe school uniforms should remain an important part of high school life. / 盗める型:make differences in family income less visible・As a result
Should students be allowed to bring smartphones to school? / I believe students should be allowed to bring smartphones to school, as long as there are clear rules. First, students can contact their families in an emergency. For instance, if a train stops because of heavy snow, they can tell their parents that they will be late. Second, smartphones are useful learning tools. Students can look up unfamiliar words or watch educational videos in class. To prevent problems, schools should require students to turn off their phones except when teachers allow their use. For these reasons, I support bringing smartphones to school. / 盗める型:as long as・For instance
Which do you prefer, online classes or face-to-face classes? / I prefer face-to-face classes to online classes. First, in a classroom, students can ask questions and get answers immediately. If they do not understand something, the teacher can notice their confused faces and explain the point again in a different way. Second, face-to-face classes help students develop social skills. Through group work, they learn how to share ideas and solve problems with others. While online classes are convenient, they cannot fully replace these experiences. For these reasons, I believe face-to-face classes are better for students. / 盗める型:prefer A to B・While
Should homework be abolished? / I do not think homework should be abolished. First, homework helps students remember what they learn. For example, solving math problems at home shows them what they do not yet understand. Second, homework helps students develop good study habits. If they study for a short time every day, they will find it easier to prepare for exams. Admittedly, too much homework can make students tired. However, the solution is to reduce the amount, not to abolish it. Therefore, I believe homework is necessary.
Should young people study abroad? / I believe that studying abroad is worth the cost. First, students can improve their language skills quickly because they have to use the language every day. For example, they need it to shop, take classes, and make friends. Second, living in a foreign country makes students more independent. When problems arise, they must solve them on their own, without help from their families. Although studying abroad is expensive, scholarships can reduce the burden. For these reasons, I think young people should study abroad if they have the chance. / 盗める型:is worth the cost・on their own・Although
Should club activities be compulsory for all students? / I do not think club activities should be compulsory for all students. First, students cannot grow much from activities that they are not interested in. If they are forced to join a club, they may simply wait for practice to end. Second, compulsory clubs take away time that students could use in other ways. For example, some students want to study for entrance exams or take lessons outside school. Of course, club activities have many benefits. However, students should be free to choose whether to join. For these reasons, I oppose compulsory club activities. / 盗める型:take away time・Of course
Should volunteer work be required for high school students? / I do not think volunteer work should be required for high school students. First, volunteering loses its meaning when it is forced. The value of volunteer work comes from people’s wish to help others. Second, required volunteering can be a burden on the organizations that accept students. For example, staff at a nursing home would have to look after students who do not want to be there. Instead, schools should provide information about volunteer opportunities and encourage students to take part. For these reasons, I believe volunteer work should remain voluntary. / 盗める型:a burden on・Instead

Should students be allowed to use AI for studying? / I believe students should be allowed to use AI for studying, as long as they do not copy its answers. First, AI can give students instant feedback. For example, it can point out grammar mistakes in an English essay within seconds. Second, AI can explain difficult ideas at each student’s level. If a student does not understand an explanation, AI can explain it again in simpler words. However, students must think for themselves first and check important facts. For these reasons, I think AI can be a helpful study partner. / 盗める型:as long as
- 2⑩ 若者とSNS(利点が大きい・97語)問:Is social media good or bad for young people? / I believe social media does young people more good than harm. First, it allows them to stay in touch with friends who live far away. For example, a student whose friend moved abroad can still talk with her every day. Second, social media helps young people find information and communities related to their interests. A student who loves science can follow researchers and learn about new discoveries. It is true that social media can be addictive. However, if young people set time limits, they can enjoy its benefits safely. Therefore, I think social media is mostly positive. / 盗める型:does young people more good than harm・It is true that・Therefore
Do you agree that Japan should become a cashless society? / I am in favor of a cashless society. First, cashless payment is fast and convenient. Customers do not need to count coins, so lines at registers move more quickly. Second, digital payments make it easier to keep track of spending. For example, many payment apps show how much money users spent each month. Some people worry that elderly people may find cashless payment difficult. However, this problem can be solved by offering simple systems and support. For these reasons, I believe Japan should become more cashless. / 盗める型:in favor of・make it easier to・Some people worry that
Will self-driving cars make our lives better? / I believe self-driving cars will make our lives better. First, they could reduce traffic accidents. Many accidents are caused by human mistakes, such as looking at a phone while driving, and computers do not get tired or distracted. Second, self-driving cars could help elderly people who can no longer drive. For example, people living in rural areas with few buses could go to the hospital or the supermarket on their own. Although the technology still has problems, it is improving quickly. For these reasons, I support the development of self-driving cars.
Will AI take away people’s jobs? / I do not think AI will simply take away people’s jobs. Rather, it will change the way we work. First, AI can do repetitive tasks, such as entering data, so that workers can focus on more creative work. Second, AI will create new jobs. People will be needed to develop AI systems, check their results, and teach others how to use them. Of course, some jobs may disappear. However, if people keep learning new skills, they can adapt to these changes. For these reasons, I believe AI will change jobs rather than destroy them. / 盗める型:Rather・so that・Of course・adapt to

Should more companies allow employees to work from home? / I think more companies should allow employees to work from home. First, working from home saves commuting time. Workers can spend the time they save with their families or on exercise. Second, it reduces stress. Employees do not have to ride crowded trains, and they can work in a quiet environment. On the other hand, some people find it hard to communicate with coworkers online. However, regular online meetings can solve this problem. For these reasons, I believe working from home should become more common. On the other hand
Is the increase in foreign tourists good for Japan? / I believe the increase in foreign tourists is good for Japan. First, tourists help local economies. They spend money at hotels, restaurants, and shops, which creates jobs, especially in rural areas. Second, tourism gives Japanese people more chances to experience different cultures. Talking with visitors can help people see their own country from a new point of view. It is true that popular places sometimes become too crowded. However, this can be managed by encouraging tourists to visit less famous areas. For these reasons, I welcome more foreign tourists. / 盗める型:creates jobs・from a new point of view・It is true that
How can we reduce food waste? / There are two effective ways to reduce food waste. First, consumers should buy only what they need. Before shopping, people can check their refrigerators and make a list, so that they do not buy food that they will throw away later. Second, stores could sell food close to its expiration date at lower prices. This would help customers save money and help stores reduce waste. Stores could also give unsold food to food banks. If both consumers and stores take action, we can greatly reduce the amount of food we waste. / 盗める型:so that
What can individuals do to protect the environment? / Individuals can protect the environment in two simple ways. First, we can reduce plastic waste. For example, if we carry our own bags and water bottles, we can avoid using many plastic bags and bottles. Second, we can walk or ride a bicycle for short trips instead of using a car. This saves energy and is also good for our health. These actions may seem small. However, when many people take them, they can make a real difference, and they may inspire others to do the same. / 盗める型:instead of・make a real difference

First, life in the countryside is quieter and less stressful. There are no crowded trains, and people can enjoy nature every day. Second, housing is cheaper and more spacious. For example, a family can rent a large house with a garden for the price of a small apartment in a big city. Although cities offer more jobs, more people can now work online from anywhere. For these reasons, I would choose to live in the countryside. / 盗める型:would prefer to・rather than・Although
Which do you prefer, printed books or e-books? / I prefer printed books to e-books. First, printed books help me concentrate. When I read on a tablet, notifications from apps often distract me, but a paper book has no such interruptions. Second, it is easier to write notes in a printed book. For example, when I study with a reference book, I can underline important points and quickly find them again. It is true that e-books are portable and convenient. However, for serious reading and studying, printed books are better. For these reasons, I prefer printed books. It is true that
