まずはこの3つ
- 基本は「主張→理由2つ（各に具体例）→まとめ」
- 賛否型は譲歩（It is true that）→However で反論
- グラフ・イラストは「描写→解釈→意見」の3段
図で一発：意見型の4ブロックと語数配分
採点者は短い時間で多くの答案を読む。最初の1文で結論が見え、First / Second で理由の数が見え、最後に結論が戻ってくる答案は迷わずに読めるだけで構成点が安定する。型は手抜きではなく、読み手へのサービスだ。
語数で決まる「骨組みの大きさ」
目安。段落の指定がある時は指示が最優先。

1意見型（What do you think about 〜?）4
すべての型の土台。80〜100語ならこの4ブロック。
- 1主張（1文）問いの語を使って立場を言い切る。I believe that 〜. / In my opinion, 〜.
- 2理由1＋具体例（2〜3文）First, 〜. For example, 〜. 理由は抽象的に、例は具体的に。
- 3理由2＋説明（2〜3文）Second, 〜. This is because 〜. / As a result, 〜. 理由1と別の角度（個人⇔社会、短期⇔長期）を選ぶ。
- 4まとめ（1文）For these reasons, 〜. 主張を別の言葉で言い直す。新しい理由は足さない。
I believe that . I have two reasons for this. First, . For example, . Second, . This is because . For these reasons, I am convinced that . ／ 固定部分だけで約20語。残りの語数を理由と例に回せる。
2賛否型（Do you agree or disagree?）3
- 11文目で賛否を言うagree / disagree の語をそのまま使う。問いの文を言い換えて続けると「わかって書いている」ことが伝わる。I disagree with the idea that homework should be abolished.宿題を廃止すべきだという考えに反対だ。
- 2譲歩→反論で格を上げる反対側の言い分を一度認めてから However で切り返す。120語以上で使うと論の厚みが出る。It is true that homework takes time. However, it helps students review what they learned.確かに宿題は時間を取る。しかし、学んだことの復習に役立つ。
- 3譲歩は短く1文で譲歩を長く書くと、どちらの立場か読み手が迷う。譲歩は1文程度にし、反論と自分の根拠を厚くする。
3比較型（Which do you prefer, A or B?）2
- 1片方を選び切る「どちらも良い」は答えになっていない。選んだ側の利点を中心に書き、選ばなかった側に触れるなら短く。I prefer living in the countryside to living in a city.都会より田舎に住む方が好きだ。
- 2While で対比を1文にWhile A has 〜, B 〜. の形で、相手側の利点を認めつつ自分の選択を示す。While cities offer more jobs, the countryside offers a quieter life.都会は仕事が多いが、田舎は静かな暮らしができる。
4グラフ・図表型（描写→解釈→意見）4
- 1何のグラフか（1文）The graph shows 〜 from 2000 to 2020. 対象・期間・単位を押さえる。
- 2いちばん目立つ特徴（1〜2文）The most noticeable point is that 〜. 最大・最小・急な変化など1〜2点だけ。全部の数字を読み上げない。
- 3原因の推測（1〜2文）This is probably because 〜. 設問が求めている時に書く。グラフにない事実を断定せず、probably / may で推測にとどめる。
- 4意見・提案（1〜2文）In my opinion, 〜. / To solve this problem, we should 〜. 指示があれば必ず入れる。
5イラスト・写真型（描写→解釈→意見）4
- 1状況を描写（1〜2文）In the picture, a woman is 〜ing. 進行中の動作は現在進行形で。
- 2気持ち・理由を推測（1〜2文）She seems to be 〜. / She must be 〜. 弱い推測は seem・may、根拠が強ければ must。表情や持ち物から根拠を添える。
- 3絵のメッセージ（1文）This picture suggests that 〜. 風刺画なら「何を批判しているか」を言葉にする。
- 4自分の意見（1〜2文）I think we should 〜. 意見を求められたら、描写だけで終わらせない。
書き出し・つなぎ・締めの定型10
- I believe that 〜.★★★私は〜だと考えるI think より確信が伝わる。主張の1文目の基本形
- I agree with the idea that 〜.★★★〜という考えに賛成だthe idea that の後に問いを言い換えて続ける
- I have two reasons for this.★★★これには理由が2つある理由の数を予告すると構成が一目でわかる
- First, 〜. Second, 〜.★★★第一に〜。第二に〜Firstly も可。First of all は「何よりまず」で、2つ並べる時は First が無難
- For example, 〜.★★★例えば〜後ろは完全な文。名詞だけなら such as
- This is because 〜.★★★これは〜だからだ理由の説明を独立した文で書ける
- It is true that 〜. However, 〜.★★★確かに〜。しかし〜譲歩→反論のセット。However の後が本音
- As a result, 〜.★★★その結果〜理由の「その先」を書いて具体化する
- For these reasons, 〜.★★★これらの理由から〜まとめの定番。理由が1つなら For this reason
- In conclusion, 〜.★★★結論として〜100語程度なら For these reasons で十分。長文向き
問：Should homework be abolished? ／ I disagree with the idea that homework should be abolished. It is true that homework takes time away from club activities and rest. However, it gives students a chance to review what they learned in class. Without review, much of what we learn is soon forgotten. In addition, homework teaches students to manage their own time, a skill they will need at university and at work. For these reasons, I believe homework should remain, although teachers could reduce the amount.
The graph shows how many hours high school students in a town spent on smartphones per day from 2016 to 2024. The most noticeable point is that the time almost doubled, from two hours to nearly four. This is probably because more classes and social activities moved online. In my opinion, students should set daily limits so that they have enough time to sleep and study. ／ 描写→特徴→推測→意見の4文。
In the picture, a family is sitting at a dinner table, but everyone is looking at a smartphone. Nobody is talking, and the food seems to be getting cold. The picture suggests that smartphones can weaken family communication. I think families should put their phones away during meals and enjoy talking with each other. ／ 進行形で描写→seem で推測→suggest でメッセージ→意見。
型を使っても減点される3つの罠3
- ✕テンプレの穴埋めに夢中で、問いに正面から答えていない○1文目で問いのキーワード（か言い換え）を使って答える型は器。問いに答えていなければ内容点は入らない。
- ✕まとめで1文目をそのまま書き写す○語や構文を変えて言い直す丸写しは語数稼ぎに見える。believe→convinced などで変化を。
- ✕理由1と理由2が同じ内容（安い／お金がかからない）○個人と社会、短期と長期など角度を変える同じ理由の言い換えは1つと数えられ、内容が薄く見える。
