Secondly, cooperation in space can improve relationships between countries on Earth. Even when governments disagree about politics, their scientists and engineers continue working together toward common goals. The Artemis program follows this tradition, with a Canadian astronaut flying on Artemis II and Japan planning to provide a pressurized rover for the Moon. Therefore, I believe that working together, rather than competing, is the best path for humanity in space.
