WHY?
どうして重さが変わるの？
Your body is the same on every world. But gravity is different. Strong gravity makes you heavy. Weak gravity makes you light. On the Moon, you weigh about one-sixth of your weight on Earth.Your mass — how much "stuff" you are made of — stays the same everywhere. But your weight is the pull of gravity on that mass. A world with more mass, or a smaller size, pulls harder. On the Moon, gravity is about one-sixth of Earth's, so a scale would show about one-sixth of your weight.あなたの体そのもの（質量）は、どの星でも変わりません。変わるのは、星があなたを引っぱる力（重力）です。重い星ほど、また小さくて中心に近い星ほど、強く引っぱります。月の重力は地球の約6分の1なので、体重計の数字も約6分の1になります。
※ ここでの「kg 相当」は、地球の体重計をその星に持っていったときに表示される数字です。太陽・木星・土星・天王星・海王星には立てる地面がないので、雲の上あたりでの値です。重力の値は NASA の惑星データ（Planetary Fact Sheet など）によります。ジャンプの高さは、地球で 50cm 跳べる人の場合のめやすです（空気の抵抗は考えていません）。
