偽警告に注意！「ウイルスに感染」の画面は詐欺、相談の数が最多に

Fake virus warnings were the most common online problem in a new report. A Japanese help center got 1,428 questions about them from April to June 2026. That was more than in the three months before.

新しい報告で、ネットのトラブルでいちばん多かったのは、ウイルスの偽警告でした。日本の相談窓口には、2026年4月から6月に、偽警告について1428件の相談がありました。これは、その前の3か月より多い数でした。

The warnings suddenly appear on the screen while people use the internet. Some of them make loud sounds. They say that the device has a virus.

偽警告は、インターネットを使っているときに、急に画面に出てきます。大きな音が鳴るものもあります。機械がウイルスに感染していると表示します。

But the warnings are not real. They tell people to call a phone number. Then tricksters try to sell them a support service they do not need.

しかし、その警告は本物ではありません。偽警告は、ある電話番号に電話するように言います。そのあと、だます人が、必要のないサポートを売りつけようとします。

The police say you should never call the number. Close the web browser instead. Do not install any software that the warning asks for. If the screen will not close, restart the device.

警察は、その番号には絶対に電話しないように言っています。かわりに、ウェブブラウザを閉じましょう。警告がすすめるソフトウェアは、何も入れてはいけません。画面が閉じないときは、機械を再起動しましょう。

Fake virus warnings were the most common problem reported to a Japanese cybersecurity help desk between April and June 2026. The Information-technology Promotion Agency, or IPA, said in a report released on July 22 that it received 1,428 consultations about the scam. That was about 24 percent more than in the previous three months and made up 37.3 percent of all consultations.

2026年4月から6月に日本のサイバーセキュリティの相談窓口に寄せられた問題で、いちばん多かったのはウイルスの偽警告でした。情報処理推進機構（IPA）は7月22日に公表した報告で、この詐欺について1428件の相談を受けたと発表しました。これはその前の3か月より約24％多く、相談全体の37.3％をしめました。

The help desk received 3,832 consultations in total during the period. Most of them came in by phone, with 2,912 calls. Other common problems included people losing control of their social media accounts and phishing messages that pretend to come from real organizations.

この期間に、窓口が受けた相談は合計で3832件でした。そのほとんどは電話によるもので、2912件でした。ほかに多かった問題には、SNSのアカウントに自分でログインできなくなる被害や、実在の組織をよそおうフィッシングのメッセージがありました。

The warnings are designed to make people anxious. The fake warnings pop up while people browse the web, sometimes with alarm sounds or a recorded voice. They claim the device is infected and urge the user to call a support number. According to Japan's National Police Agency, the scammers then sell paid support plans or push the victim to install remote-control software. Some victims have paid with gift cards or electronic money bought at convenience stores.

偽警告は、人を不安にさせるように作られています。偽警告は、ネットを見ている最中に急に出てきて、警告音や録音された声が流れることもあります。機器が感染していると言い、表示されたサポートの番号に電話するようせかします。警察庁によると、詐欺をする人はそのあと有料のサポート契約を売りつけたり、遠隔操作のソフトウェアを入れるよう相手にせまったりします。コンビニで買ったギフトカードや電子マネーではらってしまった人もいます。

The police advise people not to call the number or install anything the warning recommends. Closing the browser usually removes the warning, and restarting the device can help if it will not close. Anyone who has already paid should contact the payment company and report the case to the police. Keeping the device's software up to date also lowers the risk.

警察は、表示された番号に電話したり、警告がすすめるものを入れたりしないよう、よびかけています。ふつうはブラウザを閉じれば警告は消え、閉じない場合は機器の再起動が役に立ちます。すでにお金をはらってしまった人は、支払いをした会社に連絡し、警察に相談するべきです。機器のソフトウェアを最新の状態にしておくことも、危険を減らします。
