ミセスの新アルバム『POPS』が初週63万枚超えで1位　CD・DL・ストリーミングの3冠

Mrs. GREEN APPLE's new album, POPS, sold more than 630,000 CDs in its first week. The CD came out on September 30. The band has never sold so many CDs of an original album before.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE（ミセス・グリーン・アップル）の新しいアルバム『POPS』が、最初の1週間で63万枚以上のCDを売り上げました。CDは9月30日に発売されました。このバンドのオリジナルアルバムで、こんなに多くのCDが売れたのは初めてです。

Billboard Japan announced its weekly album chart on October 7. POPS was number one in CD sales, downloads, and streaming. Oricon, another chart company, also put the album at number one.

ビルボード・ジャパンは10月7日に、1週間ごとのアルバムのランキングを発表しました。『POPS』は、CDの売り上げ、ダウンロード、ストリーミングのすべてで1位でした。別のランキングの会社、オリコンでも、このアルバムは1位になりました。

POPS is the band's sixth original album. Their last one came out in July 2023, about three years ago. It has 16 songs, and nine of them are new.

『POPS』は、このバンドの6枚目のオリジナルアルバムです。前のアルバムは2023年7月、およそ3年前に出ました。16曲が入っていて、そのうち9曲が新しい曲です。

Some of the songs came out before the album. The song "Brand New" is used as the Japanese theme song for the movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Another song is used as the opening song for the anime Frieren.

アルバムより前に出ていた曲もあります。「Brand New」は、映画『スパイダーマン：ブランド・ニュー・デイ』の日本版の主題歌に使われています。別の曲は、アニメ『葬送のフリーレン』のオープニング曲に使われています。

A new song, "Kyohan," also did well. It was number one on a Billboard Japan chart of fast-rising songs. Songs from POPS took the top three spots on that chart.

新しい曲「共犯」も好調でした。この曲は、ビルボード・ジャパンの「急に人気が上がった曲」のランキングで1位になりました。そのランキングでは、1位から3位までを『POPS』の曲がしめました。

Mrs. GREEN APPLE's sixth original album, POPS, has topped Billboard Japan's main album chart after selling 638,788 CDs in its first week. The chart, released on October 7, counted sales and plays from September 28 to October 4. Billboard Japan said it was the band's best CD sales result for an original album. The early count had already passed half a million copies by September 30.

Mrs. GREEN APPLEの6枚目のオリジナルアルバム『POPS』が、最初の1週間でCD63万8788枚を売り上げ、ビルボード・ジャパンの総合アルバム・チャートで1位になりました。10月7日に発表されたこのチャートは、9月28日から10月4日までの売り上げと再生を集計したものです。ビルボード・ジャパンによると、バンドのオリジナルアルバムとしては最も多いCDの売り上げでした。途中の集計でも、9月30日までにすでに50万枚を超えていました。

POPS also ranked first in downloads, with 8,701, and in streaming. Billboard Japan described the result as a triple crown. Oricon, a separate chart company, also placed the album at number one on its weekly album ranking.

『POPS』は、ダウンロード（8701件）とストリーミングでも1位でした。ビルボード・ジャパンは、この結果を「3冠」と表しました。別のランキング会社であるオリコンでも、このアルバムは週間アルバムランキングの1位になりました。

The album went on sale online on September 29 and as a CD the next day. It arrived about three years after the band's previous original album, ANTENNA, which came out in July 2023. Of its 16 tracks, nine are new, while seven had already been released.

Several of the earlier songs are tied to films and anime. "Brand New" serves as the Japanese theme song for the movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The opening song for the second season of the anime Frieren is also on the album.

The new songs drew attention quickly. "Kyohan" debuted at number one on Billboard Japan's Hot Shot Songs chart, which follows fast-rising songs. Seven of the top 10 songs on that chart came from POPS. On October 8, Oricon said the band held the top four places on its weekly ranking of songs whose streaming numbers grew the most.
