A monkey escaped from a wildlife park in Scotland and then walked back home by himself. His name is Luka. He is a young Japanese macaque.

Luka got out of the Highland Wildlife Park late at night on August 16. Later, people saw him in a nearby area. Park workers looked for him with a drone. The drone had a special camera that can find warm bodies.

The next day, Luka came back to his home at the park. Nobody had to catch him. Animal doctors will check his health before he joins his group again.

Japanese macaques are also called snow monkeys. In Japan, some of them bathe in hot springs in winter. The park in Scotland is in the mountains, so it gets snow, too.
