三賢王へのお願いカード
🎯 I would like ～ / because ～ を使って、ほしい物とその理由を英語で書く。
- スペインの子どもがくつをみがいて1月6日の朝を待つ話を、写真とともに紹介する。
- Dear Three Kings, I would like ～ because ～. の形で、ほしい物（物でなくてもよい）をカードに書く。
- カードをくつ型の箱に入れ、先生が何枚か読み上げて、だれのカードか当てる。
詳細版を開く（時間配分・Teacher Talk・板書）
みがいたくつの写真を見せ、「なぜくつをみがくのか」を予想させる。英語ページの音声で本文の第1段落を聞かせ、スペインでは1月5日の夜にくつを出して寝ること、待っているのはサンタではなく3人の王様であることを確認する。
🗣️ Look at these shoes. Why are they so clean? / Listen to the story. / They are not waiting for Santa Claus. / They are waiting for three kings.
パレードとプレゼントの写真を見せ、1月6日の朝、くつのそばにプレゼントが届くことを話す。先生のカードの見本（Dear Three Kings, I would like a new bike because I want to ride to the sea. / I would like more time with my family because ...）を読み、ほしい物は物でなくてもよいことを伝える。because のあとには理由の文が続くことを確認する。
🗣️ In the morning, children find presents by their shoes. / Here is my card. Dear Three Kings, I would like a new bike. / Why? Because I want to ride to the sea. / Your wish can be a thing or not a thing.
B4 のカードを配り、Dear Three Kings, で書き始め、I would like ～ because ～. を1〜2文書かせる。From の欄には名前を書かず、カードを裏返してくつ型の箱に入れさせる。書けた生徒には、2つ目のお願いを足させる。
🗣️ Start with "Dear Three Kings." / Write "I would like" and "because." / Don't write your name. It's a secret. / Put your card in the shoe box.
箱からカードを4〜5枚引いて読み上げ、だれのカードかを当てさせる。当てるときは Is it Ken's card? の形で言わせ、本人は Yes, it's mine. / No, it isn't. で答えさせる。最後に、悪い子には石炭が届くが本当は砂糖菓子だという話を紹介して終える。
🗣️ Listen. Dear Three Kings, I would like a dog because ... / Whose card is this? Is it Ken's card? / Bad children may get black coal. / But don't worry. It is really sugar candy.

ロスカのくじ引き：世界の「当たり」比べ
🎯 国ごとの習慣を読み取り、比較の表現で発表する。
- スペイン・メキシコ・フランス・イタリアの1月6日の習慣を、グループごとに英文カードで読む。
- 「当たった人はどうなるか」（王様になる・代金を払う・タマレスを作る）を表にまとめる。
- In Mexico, the person who finds the doll has to ～, but in France, ～. の形で発表する。
- 日本の運だめしの習慣（おみくじなど）と比べて、一言感想を書く。

基本セット p.1 の第4段落を音声で聞かせ、メキシコでは人形を当てた人が2月2日にタマレスを作ることを確認する。最後の文 everyone hopes to find the doll, and everyone hopes not to find it! を読み、なぜ当てたいのに当てたくないのかを問う。
🗣️ Listen to paragraph four. / A tiny doll is hidden in the bread. / Everyone hopes to find it, and everyone hopes not to find it. Why? / Today, let's compare the "lucky" pieces in other countries.
4人グループで、スペイン・メキシコ・フランス・イタリアの英文カードを1人1枚担当させ、読ませる。読んだら自分の国について、何を食べるか・何が隠れているか・当たった人はどうなるかを、ほかの3人に英語で説明させる。
🗣️ Each person reads one card. / Find three things: the food, the hidden thing, and what happens to the finder. / Now tell your group about your country.
聞いた内容をワークシートの表にまとめさせる。スペインはマメを当てた人がパンの代金を払う、メキシコは人形を当てた人が2月2日にタマレスを作る、フランスはフェーヴを当てた人がその日の王様になる。イタリアはお菓子の当たりではなく、ベファーナがお菓子を配り、悪い子には黒い砂糖の「石炭」が届くことを書かせる。
🗣️ Fill in the table with your group. / In Spain, who pays for the bread? / In France, what happens to the finder? / Is there a hidden doll in Italy? Check your card.
In Mexico, the person who finds the doll has to make tamales on February 2, but in France, the person who finds the small figure becomes king for the day. を例に、2か国を比べる文を書かせる。各グループ1文ずつ発表させる。
🗣️ Compare two countries in one sentence. / Use "has to" and "but." / In Mexico, the finder has to make tamales, but in France, the finder becomes king. / Group 1, please read your sentence.
日本の運だめしの習慣（おみくじなど）を思い出させ、どの国の当たりがいちばんうれしいか、日本と比べて一言感想を書かせる。英語で書ける生徒は英語で書かせる。
