LINEのメッセージ編集が有料に　10月20日から、トークは送って15分以内

LINE users in Japan can no longer edit their messages for free. Since October 20, the feature has been part of a paid plan called LYP Premium.

日本のLINEの利用者は、もう無料ではメッセージを編集できなくなりました。10月20日から、この機能は「LYPプレミアム」という有料プランの一部になりました。

The edit feature lets you fix a message after you send it. In chats, you can change it for up to 15 minutes. Edited messages show a small mark that says "edited."

編集の機能を使うと、送ったあとでメッセージを直せます。トークでは、15分までなら変えられます。編集したメッセージには、「編集済み」という小さな印が出ます。

LINE started testing the feature in August. Anyone could try it for free in a part of the app called LINE Labs.

LINEは8月にこの機能のお試しを始めました。アプリの「LINEラボ」というところで、だれでも無料で試せました。

LINE Labs now has another test feature called Scroll Preview. You press and hold a chat in your list, and a small window opens. You can scroll through the messages there without leaving a "read" mark. It is free now, but LINE plans to move it to the paid plan later.

LINEラボには今、「スクロールプレビュー」という別のお試しの機能もあります。トークの一覧でトークを長押しすると、小さな画面が開きます。そこでメッセージをスクロールして読んでも、「既読」の印はつきません。今は無料ですが、LINEはあとで有料プランに移す予定です。

LINE Yahoo has moved its message editing feature behind a paywall. Since Oct. 20, users of the LINE messaging app in Japan have needed a membership in LYP Premium to edit a message after sending it. The feature is included in two of the plans, the Standard Plan and a plan that comes with Netflix.

LINEヤフーが、メッセージ編集の機能を有料の会員向けにしました。10月20日から、日本でLINEを使う人が、送ったあとのメッセージを編集するには「LYPプレミアム」の会員になる必要があります。この機能が入っているのは、「スタンダードプラン」と、Netflixがついたプランの2つです。

In one-on-one and group chats, a message can be edited within 15 minutes of being sent. Notes saved in Keep Memo can be edited for six days. An edited message carries a label that tells others it has been changed.

1対1のトークとグループトークでは、送ってから15分以内ならメッセージを編集できます。「Keepメモ」に保存したメモは、6日間編集できます。編集したメッセージには、変えられたことをほかの人に伝える表示がつきます。

The company first offered the feature in August through LINE Labs, a section of the app where users can try test features for free. It had said from the start that editing would become a paid perk later. The Standard Plan costs 508 yen a month when users sign up on the web and 650 yen when they sign up in the app.

会社は8月、利用者が試験中の機能を無料で試せるアプリの中の場所「LINEラボ」で、この機能を初めて提供しました。編集があとで有料の特典になることは、最初から伝えていました。スタンダードプランは、ウェブで申しこむと月508円、アプリで申しこむと月650円です。

Another feature in LINE Labs deals with the app's read receipts. When someone opens a chat, the sender sees a mark showing that the message has been read. LINE Yahoo introduced a new feature called Scroll Preview on its official site on Oct. 7. It lets users press and hold a chat and scroll through older messages in a small window without that mark appearing. Tapping the messages opens the chat and marks them as read.

LINEラボのもう1つの機能は、アプリの「既読」の表示に関係するものです。だれかがトークを開くと、送った人には、メッセージが読まれたことを示す印が見えます。LINEヤフーは10月7日、公式サイトで「スクロールプレビュー」という新しい機能を紹介しました。これを使うと、トークを長押しして、小さな画面で前のメッセージまでスクロールしても、その印がつきません。メッセージの部分をタップするとトークが開き、既読がつきます。

Scroll Preview is free for now. LINE Yahoo plans to make it part of LYP Premium as well but has not said when the free period will end.

スクロールプレビューは、今のところ無料です。LINEヤフーはこれもLYPプレミアムの一部にする予定ですが、無料の期間がいつ終わるかは発表していません。
