海賊言葉で自己紹介
🎯 決まり文句（Ahoy / Aye / matey）を使って、楽しく自己紹介と受け答えをする。
- Ahoy!（やあ）、Aye!（はい）、matey（仲間）、Shiver me timbers!（なんてこった）の4つを紹介する。
- Ahoy, matey! I'm Captain ___. I like ___. の形で海賊の自己紹介を考える。
- 教室を歩き回り、3人と自己紹介をし合う。質問には Aye! / Nay! で答える。
- いちばん面白い海賊の名前をクラスで選ぶ。

先生が Ahoy, matey! と海賊の声であいさつして始める。英語ページの会話を聞かせ、Ms. Carter が「はい」の代わりに何と言わせたかを聞く（Aye）。9月19日が Talk Like a Pirate Day で、1995年に2人の友人の冗談から始まったことを紹介する。
🗣️ Ahoy, matey! Are ye ready for class? / Today is Talk Like a Pirate Day. / Listen. What does Riku say for yes? / Aye! Two friends started this day as a joke in 1995.
4つの海賊言葉のカードを見せ、意味を確かめてから海賊らしく大げさに言う練習をする。Nay!（いいえ）も加える。自己紹介メモに Captain のあとの名前と好きなものを書かせる。
🗣️ Ahoy means hello. Aye means yes. Nay means no. / Matey means friend. / Shiver me timbers! means Oh my gosh! / Make your pirate name. I'm Captain Ramen!
教室を歩き回り、3人と海賊の自己紹介をし合う。自己紹介のあと、Do you like ... ? と1つ質問し、相手は Aye! / Nay! で答える。相手の海賊名をメモさせる。
🗣️ Stand up. Talk to three pirates. / Ahoy, matey! I'm Captain ... I like ... / Ask one question. Do you like fish? / Answer, Aye! or Nay!
メモした海賊名の中から、いちばん面白い名前をクラスで選ぶ。全員で Aye, aye, captain! と言って終わる。

英語で宝の地図をつくろう
🎯 道案内の表現（go straight, turn left, next to）を、宝探しで楽しく練習する。
- 島の地図に、木・岩・川などの絵をかき、どこか1か所に×印の宝をかくす。
- Go straight. Turn left at the big tree. の形で、宝までの道順を英語でメモする。
- ペアで地図を交換し、相手の英語の指示だけで宝を探す。
- 見つけたら Shiver me timbers! と叫んで交代する。

先生が海賊の帽子をかぶり Ahoy! とあいさつする。9月19日は海賊のまねをして話す日だと伝える。黒板に島の地図をかき、宝の × 印までの道を Go straight. Turn left at the big tree. と言いながら指でたどる。

道案内の絵カードを使って、Go straight. / Turn left. / Turn right. / next to を体の動きつきで練習する。先生の指示で教室の中を何歩か動くゲームを1回する。
🗣️ Go straight. Walk, walk, walk. / Turn left. Turn right. / Next to means right beside. Next to the desk! / Stand up. Go straight. Turn right. Stop!
島の地図に木・岩・川などの絵をかかせ、どこか1か所に × 印の宝をかくす（相手に見えないよう別紙にかく）。宝までの道順を Go straight. Turn left at the big tree. の形で英語でメモさせる。書くのが難しい子は絵カードの記号で書いてよい。

ペアで宝の位置をかいていない地図を交換し、相手の英語の指示だけで宝の場所を探させる。見つけたら Shiver me timbers! と叫んで役を交代する。

何組かに見つけた場所を発表してもらう。この日は1995年に2人の友だちが遊びの中で思いついた日だと伝え、全員で Aye, aye, captain! と言って終わる。
