A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces has been named the WNBA's Most Valuable Player for a record fifth time. She also became the first player in the league's 30-year history to win the award in three straight seasons. Wilson was previously named MVP in 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2025.

The result was not close. Wilson received 65 of 74 first-place votes from a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters, giving her 713 points. Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles finished second with 442 points, and Indiana's Kelsey Mitchell came third.
