A spacecraft from an American company landed on the Moon on March 2, 2025. The lander is called Blue Ghost. Blue Ghost carried 10 science tools for NASA.

Blue Ghost landed standing up and finished all of its work. It was the first lander from a private company to do that.

On March 14, people in many places on Earth saw a lunar eclipse. At the same time, Blue Ghost watched Earth move in front of the Sun. From the Moon, it was a solar eclipse.

On March 16, the lander took pictures of a sunset on the Moon. The lander kept working for about five hours after dark. Then its solar power ran out. Blue Ghost sent 119 gigabytes of data to Earth.
