A Ghost on the Moon
1A spacecraft from an American company landed on the Moon on March 2, 2025. The lander is called Blue Ghost. Blue Ghost carried 10 science tools for NASA.
2Blue Ghost landed standing up and finished all of its work. It was the first lander from a private company to do that.
3On March 14, people in many places on Earth saw a lunar eclipse. At the same time, Blue Ghost watched Earth move in front of the Sun. From the Moon, it was a solar eclipse.
4On March 16, the lander took pictures of a sunset on the Moon. The lander kept working for about five hours after dark. Then its solar power ran out. Blue Ghost sent 119 gigabytes of data to Earth.

12025年3月2日、アメリカの会社の宇宙船が月に着陸しました。この着陸機の名前は「ブルーゴースト」です。ブルーゴーストは、NASAの科学の道具を10個運びました。
2ブルーゴーストはまっすぐ立って着陸し、予定の仕事をすべて終えました。民間の会社の着陸機でそれができたのは、これが初めてでした。
33月14日、地球の多くの場所で月食が見られました。ちょうど同じとき、ブルーゴーストは地球が太陽の前を通るのを見ていました。月から見ると、それは日食だったのです。
43月16日、着陸機は月の夕日の写真をとりました。暗くなってからも約5時間、働き続けました。そして、太陽の光でつくる電気がなくなりました。ブルーゴーストは地球に119ギガバイトのデータを送りました。
