- 理由は健康・お金・時間・安全などの「視点」から探す
- 理由→具体例→結果の3段で1つの理由を太くする
- 賛否どちらでも書けるよう両側の理由を持っておく
理由は「ひらめく」ものではなく「視点から拾う」もの
どのテーマでも、理由はだいたい同じ視点から出てくる。テーマを見たら下の8つの視点に当てはめ、英語で書ける理由を2つ選ぶ。「本当にそう思うか」より「英語で具体的に説明できるか」で選ぶのが、時間内に書き切るコツだ。

- 1理由（抽象）Smartphones can be used as learning tools.（スマホは学習道具になる）
- 2具体例（場面）For example, students can look up unknown words in seconds.（知らない単語を数秒で調べられる）
- 3結果（だから何？）As a result, they can study more efficiently.（その結果、効率よく勉強できる）
