1The six-member K-pop group RIIZE released a digital single called Insomnia at midnight on October 26, Korean time. Its music video went up on the SMTOWN channel on YouTube at the same moment. The group belongs to the agency SM Entertainment. RIIZE first announced the comeback with a teaser video on October 18.

2Insomnia is an acoustic pop song, a genre that the group is trying for the first time. For this single, RIIZE set aside its stylish dance performances. Instead, the song places the six members' voices at the center. Soompi, a K-pop news site, described its mood as melancholic.
