RIIZE Sings About a Sleepless Night

1The K-pop group RIIZE released a new song, Insomnia, on October 26. The song came out at midnight, Korean time. Its music video came out on YouTube at the same time.

2RIIZE has six members. Insomnia is an acoustic pop song, and this style is new for the group. The song puts the members' voices first, not their dancing. It has a slightly sad mood.

3In English, insomnia means trouble with sleeping. The word comes from Latin. In that language, in- means not, and somnus means sleep. The song is about a night when someone cannot fall asleep. The later it gets, the more that person thinks about someone else.

4In June, RIIZE's second mini album sold one million copies. The group plans to release its second full album in spring 2027.

The later it gets, the more that person thinks about someone else.
