BTSがSpotifyで1年に100億回再生　世界のグループで初めて

1BTS has become the first group to pass 10 billion plays on Spotify in one year. Spotify is a popular app for listening to music. The group's company, BigHit Music, announced the news on October 16.

2Some solo singers, such as Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny, have done it before. But no group had reached that number until now.

3Last year, BTS songs were played 4.5 billion times on Spotify. This year, the number has more than doubled. That is more than 30 million plays a day on average.

4The big reason is Arirang, a new album that came out in March. It is the first album by all seven members in almost four years. Arirang alone has been played more than 5 billion times. No other album from this year has more plays on Spotify.

5The album came out on March 20. On that day alone, BTS songs were played about 130 million times.

1BTS が、Spotify（スポティファイ）で1年に100億回以上再生された、初めてのグループになりました。Spotify は、音楽を聞くための人気のアプリです。グループの所属事務所のビッグヒット・ミュージックが、10月16日に発表しました。

2テイラー・スウィフトやバッド・バニーのように、ソロの歌手では前に達成した人がいます。でも、グループでその数に届いたのは、今回が初めてです。

3去年、BTS の曲は Spotify で45億回再生されました。今年は、その数が2倍以上になりました。平均すると、1日に3000万回以上も再生されたことになります。

4大きな理由は、3月に出た新しいアルバム『ARIRANG』です。7人のメンバー全員がそろったアルバムは、4年近くぶりです。『ARIRANG』だけで、50億回以上も再生されています。今年出たアルバムの中で、Spotify でこれより多く再生されたものはありません。

5アルバムが出たのは3月20日です。その1日だけで、BTS の曲は約1億3000万回も再生されました。

文法ポイント：現在完了（has + 過去分詞）

「（今までに）～した・～になった」と、過去から今につながることを表す。本文の BTS has become the first group ... は「（今）初めてのグループになった」、the number has more than doubled は「（今年に入ってこれまでに）数が2倍以上になった」。入試では have / has のあとの過去分詞の形がよく問われる。
