Can Screen Time Help Your Brain?

1Children who spent more time on screens did better on some thinking tests as teenagers. A study in Finland found this.

2Researchers followed 260 children for eight years. The children were six to nine years old at the start. At the end, they were about 16.

3The teens took tests on learning, attention and memory. Those with more screen time since childhood scored better. The researchers also looked at exercise. For girls, more light exercise was linked to a better memory.

4The study shows a link, not a cause. The lead researcher said what children do on screens probably matters most. He said screen time should not be seen only as bad.

文法ポイント:関係代名詞 who(~する人)

Children who spent more time on screens
