1ハリー・ポッターの新しいテレビドラマが、12月25日に日本で始まります。このニュースは10月30日に発表されました。日本のファンは、Hulu（フールー）で見ることができます。

2最初のシーズンは、1巻目のお話を描きます。映画のシリーズでは、この本はたった1本の映画になりました。ドラマは、同じお話を8回分かけて描きます。

3ハリー・ポッターのシリーズには、7冊の本があります。1冊ごとに1つのシーズンを作る計画です。全部で約10年かかるかもしれない、と伝えられています。

文法ポイント：受け身（be動詞 + 過去分詞）

「～される・～された」を表す。本文の The news was announced on October 30.（そのニュースは10月30日に発表された）や Harry and his friends are played by new actors.（ハリーと友だちは新しい俳優たちによって演じられる）がその例。だれがするかは by ～ で表す。
