1Two members of the Japanese idol group Strawberry Prince, including its leader, Nanamori, announced on Oct. 18 that they were leaving the group that same day. The other member is Satomi. The group had six members before the change. Both shared the news in long written messages posted on X.

2Known in Japan as Sutopuri, the group began its activities in 2016 and marked its 10th anniversary in June. To celebrate, it held an arena tour with 13 shows in four cities. The tour ended in August. In 2023, the group made its first appearance on Kohaku Uta Gassen, NHK's year-end music show.

3Nanamori, who has also worked as the group's producer, said the choice to leave was his own. Satomi gave several reasons for his decision. He said that after returning from a break last year, he had been thinking about his place in the group. He also said he wanted to test his abilities as an individual.

4Satomi plans to continue streaming and posting videos under his own name. However, he will no longer perform on stage as a member of the group.

5At 8 p.m., all six members appeared together in a live stream on the group's official YouTube channel. During the stream, the remaining four members said they would carry on as Strawberry Prince. 1日本のアイドルグループ「すとぷり」のメンバー2人が、10月18日、その日でグループを卒業すると発表しました。そのうち1人はリーダーのななもり。です。もう1人はさとみです。グループのメンバーは、それまで6人でした。2人とも、Xに投稿した長い文章で知らせました。

2日本では「すとぷり」として知られるこのグループは、2016年に活動を始め、6月に10周年をむかえました。それを記念して、4都市で13公演のアリーナツアーを開きました。ツアーは8月に終わりました。2023年には、NHKの年末の音楽番組「紅白歌合戦」に初めて出場しました。
