Musicians and a Sound Trick
1Musicians are a little harder to fool with a common sound trick. That is what a study led by a researcher in Australia has found.
2When people watch a movie, voices seem to come from the actors' mouths. In fact, the sound comes from the speakers. The brain moves the sound toward what we see. This is called the ventriloquism illusion.
3Researchers tested 35 musicians and 35 other people. The other people had played an instrument for one year or less outside school. The musicians had played an instrument for at least seven years. In a dark room, they saw flashes of light and heard short sounds. Then they showed where they thought each sound or light came from.
4The light pulled people's answers about the sounds toward it. But the musicians were pulled a little less. The difference was small. The study also does not show that playing music causes the difference.

This is called the ventriloquism illusion.(これは腹話術の錯覚と呼ばれる)や the musicians were pulled a little less(引っぱられ方が少し小さかった)がその例。
