Find Team Rocket in a New Pokémon Game

1The Pokémon Company will sell a new board game on November 12. In the game, players try to find hidden members of Team Rocket. Team Rocket is a famous group of bad guys in the Pokémon anime.

2Four to six people can play. At the start, each player gets a secret role card. Everyone knows who the Gym Leader is. The other players hide their roles, and some of them may be Team Rocket.

3Each player chooses a partner Pokémon and battles with cards. Some cards are for attacks, and others help you dodge them. When players lose, they must show their role cards. Everyone talks and tries to find out who is lying.

4On October 15, the company showed a video for the game. Three voice actors who play Team Rocket in the anime appear in it. The game costs 2,200 yen and is for players aged 10 and over.

全文訳

1株式会社ポケモンが、11月12日に新しいボードゲームを発売します。このゲームでは、かくれているロケット団のメンバーをさがします。ロケット団は、ポケモンのアニメに出てくる有名な悪者のグループです。

24人から6人で遊べます。はじめに、全員が役の書かれたひみつのカードを1枚ずつもらいます。ジムリーダーがだれかは、全員にわかります。ほかの人は自分の役をかくします。その中に、ロケット団がいるかもしれません。

3それぞれが相棒のポケモンを選び、カードでバトルします。わざを出すカードもあれば、わざをよけるためのカードもあります。負けた人は、自分の役のカードを見せなければなりません。みんなで話しながら、だれがうそをついているのかを見つけようとします。

410月15日、会社はこのゲームの映像を公開しました。アニメでロケット団を演じている声優の3人が、映像に出ています。値段は2200円で、10歳以上向けです。

文法ポイント：間接疑問文（who is lying：だれがうそをついているか）

疑問文 Who is lying?（だれがうそをついているの？）が文の中に入ると、who is lying（だれがうそをついているか）になる。本文の Everyone talks and tries to find out who is lying. がその例。who が主語のときは、語順はそのまま（who + 動詞）。高校入試の並べかえで定番。
