1Polka dots have become a big fashion trend among teenagers in Japan. Surveys and street reports show the change.

2The Japanese company Mynavi asked 610 girls aged 13 to 19 about trends in April. Polka dot items came eighth in the goods group. Mynavi said the trend grew out of a style called Wishcore. This style comes from the K-pop group NCT WISH and often uses stars, angel wings and dots.

3The fashion website FASHIONSNAP often checks what people wear in Harajuku, Tokyo. In July, it made polka dots a key item. It was the first time in more than 30 years. Most of the dots were black on white.

4In September, a research company asked 200 high school students what was popular. Polka dots shared fourth place with 3.1 percent.

1水玉もよう（ドット柄）が、日本の10代のあいだで大きなファッションの流行になっています。いくつかの調査や、街の服装の報告が、この変化を伝えています。

2日本の会社マイナビは4月、13歳から19歳の女の子610人に、はやっている物について聞きました。モノ部門で、ドット柄のアイテムは8位になりました。マイナビによると、この流行は「ウィッシュコア」というスタイルから広がりました。このスタイルはK-POPグループのNCT WISHから生まれたもので、星や天使の羽、水玉がよく使われます。
