1The anime movie Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has earned over 40 billion yen in Japan. It is only the second movie in Japan to reach this number.

2The movie came out in Japanese theaters on July 18, 2025. It had the best first three days in Japanese movie history. It passed 40 billion yen on March 29, 2026. By then, more than 27 million people had bought tickets.

3Only one other movie has earned that much in Japan. It is Demon Slayer: Mugen Train from 2020. That movie earned about 40.8 billion yen. Now the top two movies in Japan are both Demon Slayer films.

4The new movie also did well in other countries. In November 2025, it became the first Japanese movie to earn over 100 billion yen worldwide. The movie is the first of three parts. Most theaters in Japan will stop showing it on April 9, 2026.

全文訳

1アニメ映画「鬼滅の刃 無限城編」の日本での興行収入が、400億円を超えました。日本でこの数字に届いた映画は、これでまだ2本目です。

2この映画は2025年7月18日に日本の映画館で公開されました。公開から3日間の成績は、日本の映画の歴史で最高でした。2026年3月29日に400億円を超えました。そのときまでに、2700万人以上がチケットを買っていました。

3日本でこれほど稼いだ映画は、ほかに1本しかありません。それは2020年の「鬼滅の刃 無限列車編」です。その映画は約408億円を稼ぎました。これで、日本の映画のトップ2はどちらも鬼滅の刃になりました。

過去から今までのことを表す。本文の Only one other movie has earned that much in Japan. は「（今までに）それだけ稼いだ映画はほかに1本だけ」、The movie has earned over 40 billion yen は「（今までに）400億円以上稼いだ」という意味。
