Royal Jewels Stolen from a Famous Museum
1Thieves stole eight royal jewels from the Louvre in Paris on October 19, 2025. The Louvre is one of the most famous museums in the world. The theft happened on a Sunday morning, shortly after the museum opened.
2The thieves broke into a gallery inside the museum. The gallery is famous for the French crown jewels. Some of the stolen jewels were once worn by queens and empresses in the 1800s. The whole theft took only about seven minutes.
3As the thieves ran away, they dropped a ninth piece, a crown that belonged to Empress Eugenie. It has 1,354 diamonds and 56 emeralds. Police later found the broken crown just outside the museum.
4No one was hurt, but the museum closed for the rest of the day. Police are now looking for the thieves and the eight missing jewels.

文法ポイント:関係代名詞 that(物・人を説明する)
本文の a crown that belonged to Empress Eugenie(皇后ウジェニーのものだった王冠)がその例。
