- 上位語は「難しい」からでなく「正確」だから点になる
- 単語ではなく a serious problem のように組み合わせで
- consider・contribute to の語法に注意
言い換えの目的は「正確さ」
good は「良い」のどの面か（役に立つ・効果がある・価値がある）を語ってくれない。beneficial・effective・valuable と言い換えると、意味が絞られて論理がはっきりする。だから評価が上がる。逆に、使い方に自信のない難語は誤用で減点される。下の60組は、受験生が安全に使える語だけを選んだ。

- ✕Schools should provide students computers.○Schools should provide students with computers.provide 人 with 物 / provide 物 for 人 が標準。
- ✕It is very essential.○It is essential.essential は意味が強い語。very で強めない。
言い換えの3原則3
- 1組み合わせごと覚えるserious problem・heavy rain のように、名詞と一緒に使う形容詞・動詞は決まっている。単語だけでなく組み合わせで覚える。
- 2語法が変わる語に注意think about → consider（about 不要）、help → contribute to（to が必要）のように、言い換えると前置詞が変わる語がある。
- 3迷ったら平易な語使い方に自信のない難語より、正しく使える平易な語の方が点になる。言い換えは1答案に3〜4か所で十分。
Before → After
Before：Smartphones are good for students. They can get a lot of information, and this makes their study better. But they have a big problem. ／ After：Smartphones are beneficial to students. Students can obtain a great deal of information, which improves their learning. However, smartphones also cause a serious problem. ／ good→beneficial、get→obtain、a lot of→a great deal of、make better→improve、big→serious。But→However も書き言葉らしくなる。
