【解説】
「Understood the memo」は「メモ（指示・状況）を完璧に理解した」という意味のスラングです。ドレスコード、空気を読む、期待に応える、といった場面で「状況をちゃんと把握して適切に対応した」人に対して使います。「She understood the memo」は「彼女は状況を完璧に理解していた」という褒め言葉です。
【豆知識1】
「Didn’t get the memo」は逆の意味で、「メモを受け取っていなかった＝状況を把握できていなかった」という表現です。ドレスコードを間違えたときなどに「I didn’t get the memo!」と言い訳します。
【豆知識2】
この表現はオフィスカルチャーから来ています。「Did you get the memo?（メモ見た？）」は上司が部下に確認する定番フレーズで、そこからスラングに発展しました。
