1Nintendo has made November 1 Pikmin Day. The company announced it in a video on October 31. Game designer Shigeru Miyamoto appeared in the video.

2Nintendo had a reason to choose this date. When Pikmin first appeared in 2001, there were three colors of Pikmin. They were red, blue and yellow. Nintendo thinks of each of the three Pikmin as the number 1, so the date is 11/1.

3Nintendo also has a new series of short movies called Hello Pikmin. The first one comes out on November 1. People can watch the movies on apps like Nintendo Today.

4Pikmin 4 for the Nintendo Switch 2 will go on sale on November 12. In this version, players can give orders to the dog Oatchi with their voice. A demo of the game will start on November 2.

1任天堂が、11月1日を「ピクミンの日」にしました。会社は10月31日に、動画でそれを発表しました。動画には、ゲームを作る宮本茂さんが出ました。

2任天堂がこの日を選んだのには、理由があります。2001年にピクミンが初めて出たとき、ピクミンは3つの色でした。赤、青、黄色です。任天堂は、その3匹のピクミンを1匹ずつ数字の1に見立てました。だから日付は11月1日なのです。

3任天堂は『Hello! Pikmin』という、短い映像の新しいシリーズも用意しました。1本目は11月1日に公開されます。「Nintendo Today!」などのアプリで見ることができます。
