音声・ゲームはこちらから

A new Bocchi the Rock movie is coming to theaters in 2027, the anime's team said on November 1. The film, titled Hoshi no Ashiato, was revealed at 9 p.m. Japan time with a teaser video and a teaser image.

The TV anime first aired in October 2022. It follows Hitori Gotoh, a high school girl who is extremely shy but plays the guitar very well. In the story, she joins a girls' band named Kessoku Band and grows with her new friends.

The new movie centers on Seika Ijichi, the older sister of band member Nijika. Seika is the manager of STARRY, a live music club. The film is a prequel set before Kessoku Band was formed, and it begins with the two sisters parting ten years earlier. Maaya Uchida will voice Seika, and Sayumi Suzushiro will voice Nijika.

The story comes from Hoshi ni Tamukeru Ai no Hana, a special chapter printed at the end of the fifth volume of Aki Hamaji's manga. Hamaji has said the chapter was written to fill in the sisters' past, which was shown at the end of the eighth episode of the TV anime.

The script is by Erika Yoshida, and Yukiko Horiguchi designed the characters. Studio CloverWorks is making the animation. A second season of the TV anime is also being made.

On the same night, the team also announced an Asia tour by the voice actors of Kessoku Band. The tour will start at Intex Osaka on March 13 and 14, 2027, and then move to Seoul on May 8 and Hong Kong on May 22.
