Hoshimachi Suisei and Natori Team Up Again for a Zombie Song

1Hoshimachi Suisei, a virtual idol, released a new digital single called Zombie Zombie Zombie on October 24. The song became available on streaming services at midnight. The day before, fans could already hear it at a collaboration event in Tokyo. Shortly before midnight, Suisei posted on X that she could feel a zombie outbreak coming.

2The song was written by the music creator Natori. Natori also wrote Moonlight, a song Suisei released in October 2024. Zombie Zombie Zombie is their first song together in about two years.

3The new track uses zombies to describe the feeling of being stuck and empty in modern society. Musically, however, it has a powerful dance beat and a strongly positive message. Music media described it as a good fit for the Halloween season. The illustrator Akiya Lemon Sour drew the cover art. A music video is also scheduled for release day, and Suisei said on X that it would appear at around 7:30 p.m.

4To mark the release, Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku is holding an event called KABUKICHO STELLAR TOWER until November 8. The event started on October 23, the day before the song came out. Original goods are sold on the third floor, and some restaurants in the building serve special food and drinks. Her songs are also played inside the building.

5In March 2026, Suisei set up her own agency, Studio STELLAR. Since September, she has been on an arena tour of four cities in Japan.

全文訳

1バーチャルアイドルの星街すいせいが、10月24日にデジタルシングル「ゾンビゾンビゾンビ」を配信しました。曲は深夜0時に、音楽配信サービスで聞けるようになりました。その前の日から、東京のコラボイベントでは、ファンがすでにこの曲を聞くことができました。0時の少し前、すいせいはXに「もうすぐゾンビが大量発生しそうな予感」と投稿しました。

2曲を作ったのは、音楽クリエイターのなとりです。なとりは、すいせいが2024年10月に出した「ムーンライト」も作っています。「ゾンビゾンビゾンビ」は、2人が約2年ぶりにいっしょに作った曲です。
