3 Million Cream Sweets in Six Days
1FamilyMart sold more than 3 million cream sweets in just six days. The sweets use a new cream called Mugen Cream.
2Mugen means "endless" in Japanese. FamilyMart says the cream tastes so good that you could eat it without end. The chain changed its whipped cream for the first time in eight years.
3Three sweets with the cream went on sale across Japan on October 13. One of them was a cake that is almost all cream. Their prices were between 199 and 248 yen.
4By October 18, sales had passed 3 million. That is about six sweets every second. FamilyMart said it was the fastest pace ever for its sweets.
5On October 20, the chain started selling three more sweets with the cream. They are an eclair, a pudding and a crepe.
