1The final film in the Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club trilogy will open in Japanese theaters on Feb. 5, 2027. The release date was announced on Oct. 16 along with a short teaser trailer and a summary of the story. It will bring the long-running story to an end.

2Nijigasaki, often called Nijigaku, is part of the Love Live franchise. Its TV anime first aired in October 2020. A second TV season followed in 2022. The story later moved to theaters as a three-part series, with the first film released in 2024 and the second in 2025.

3In the new film, the members return to Tokyo for the final round of the School Idol GPX, a grand prix for school idols. Earlier, the contest was held in Okinawa and in the Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe area. The teaser shows 13 girls: a group of 12 and one more girl.

4Tomoyuki Kawamura, who also directed the TV series, is directing the film. Jin Tanaka wrote the script, and the animation studio Sunrise is making the animation.

5Fans can catch up before the release. On Oct. 17, the second film began rolling out on several streaming services, though start times may differ by service. A second round of advance tickets for the final film will go on sale on Oct. 23. Buyers get one of 13 clear card designs at random with each ticket, while supplies last.

1『ラブライブ！虹ヶ咲学園スクールアイドル同好会』3部作の最後の映画が、2027年2月5日に日本の映画館で公開されます。公開日は10月16日に、短い予告動画（特報）とあらすじといっしょに発表されました。長く続いてきたお話が、これで終わります。

2よく「ニジガク」とよばれる虹ヶ咲は、『ラブライブ！』シリーズの1つです。テレビアニメは2020年10月に放送が始まりました。2022年には、テレビアニメの第2期が放送されました。その後お話は3部作として映画館に移り、1本目は2024年、2本目は2025年に公開されました。

3新しい映画では、メンバーがスクールアイドルの大会「スクールアイドルGPX（グランプリ）」の最終ラウンドのために、東京へもどります。それまで大会は、沖縄と、京都・大阪・神戸のあたりで開かれていました。特報には、12人と、もう1人の女の子、合わせて13人の女の子がうつっています。
