1A TV jingle that is only about three seconds long topped a karaoke chart in Japan. The jingle is "Hakata no Shio," the name of a brand of salt. Singers just sing those words, and the song is over.

2JOYSOUND is one of Japan's big karaoke services. The jingle was number one on its weekly chart in the first week of July 2026. Short music like this for a company is called a sound logo. It was the first time a sound logo reached number one on the weekly chart.

3The jingle is short, but it is very hard to get a high score. In June, the average score was only about 61 points. So people sing it again and again. Singers from their teens to their 60s try it.

4The Japanese word "taipa" means "time performance," or using time well. JOYSOUND says this is why some people sing only the best part of a song. On October 12, the jingle was still number one on JOYSOUND's daily chart.

1たった3秒ほどのテレビCMの歌が、日本のカラオケのランキングで1位になりました。その歌は「伯方の塩」。塩の商品の名前です。歌う人はその名前を歌うだけで、曲はおしまいです。

2JOYSOUND（ジョイサウンド）は、日本の大きなカラオケの会社の1つです。この歌は、2026年7月の第1週に、JOYSOUNDの週間ランキングで1位になりました。会社のためのこのような短い音楽は、サウンドロゴと呼ばれます。サウンドロゴが週間ランキングで1位になったのは、これが初めてでした。

3この歌は短いのに、高い点数をとるのはとても難しいのです。6月の平均点は、たった61点ほどでした。だから、みんな何度もくり返し歌います。10代から60代まで、いろいろな年の人が挑戦しています。
