1The makers of the anime Takopi's Original Sin released a full trailer for its movie version on October 23. The film, subtitled Thank You, See You Tomorrow, opens in Japanese theaters on November 27. The trailer includes some newly made scenes. Advance tickets also went on sale that day.

2The movie is a re-edited version of the six-episode series that was streamed in 2025. New scenes have been added, and the cast includes Kurumi Mamiya as Takopi and Reina Ueda as Shizuka. Shinya Iino, who directed the series, said theaters can offer an experience that only a big screen and sound system can give.

3The theme song is Rabyu, a new track written for the film by the singer Tele. Tele also performed Garasu no Sen, the ending song of the original series. The team also released a new poster image drawn by character designer Keita Nagahara.

4Takopi is a creature who comes to Earth to spread happiness. He tries to cheer up a girl named Shizuka with his special tools, but his innocent wish pulls the children into events he never expected.

5The original manga by Taizan 5 began on Shonen Jump+ in December 2021 and set a viewing record there. Its two volumes have more than 1.8 million copies, including digital editions. The anime series won a jury award in the TV category at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2026.

全文訳

1アニメ『タコピーの原罪』の制作チームが10月23日、映画版の本予告を公開しました。「ありがとう、また明日」という副題がついた映画は、11月27日に日本の映画館で公開されます。本予告には、新しく作られた場面も入っています。前売券も、同じ日に発売されました。

2映画は、2025年に配信された全6話のシリーズを作りなおしたものです。新しい場面が足され、声の出演はタコピー役の間宮くるみさん、しずか役の上田麗奈さんなどです。シリーズの監督の飯野慎也さんは、映画館なら大きなスクリーンと音響ならではの体験ができると話しています。
