That's normal in a lot of places. In India, many people grow up with two or three languages. You just switch without thinking. それは多くの国でふつうのことだよ。インドでは2つか3つの言語の中で育つ人が多いの。考えずに切り替えるんだ。

I watched a lot of anime as a kid, and then I got a job offer from a company in Osaka. I'm moving there next year. 子どものころアニメをたくさん見てて、それから大阪の会社から内定をもらったの。来年引っ越すんだ。

Good on ya! Is it hard? やったね！難しい？
Priya
The grammar is OK, actually. The word order is similar to Tamil — the verb comes at the end. But kanji are really difficult. 文法は実はそんなに難しくないの。語順がタミル語に似ていて、動詞が最後に来るから。でも漢字は本当に難しい。

I use flashcards on my phone every morning, and I have a conversation partner online. We talk twice a week. 毎朝スマホで単語カードを使って、オンラインの会話パートナーもいるよ。週に2回話してるの。

All the time! Last week I answered my mum in Japanese by mistake. She just stared at me. しょっちゅう！先週、うっかり母に日本語で返事しちゃったの。ぽかんと見つめられたよ。
