折り方How to fold

たて半分に折って、折りすじをつける
Fold in half from left to right and unfold.
上の2つの角を、まん中の線に合わせて折る
Fold the top corners to the center line.
上の三角を、下へ折る
Fold the top triangle down.
上の2つの角を、もう一度まん中の線に合わせて折る
Fold the new top corners to the center line again.
まん中の線で、うしろへ半分に折る（山折り）
Mountain fold in half along the center line.
先が右になるように向きをかえる
Rotate it so the nose points to the right.
手前の1まいを、下のふちから 2.5cm くらいの所で下へ折って、広いつばさをつくる
Fold the top layer down about 1 inch (2.5 cm) above the bottom edge to make a wide wing.
先の重なった所は、ぶ厚いのでしっかり折ろう。

Turn it over.

Fold the other wing the same way.
つばさを広げる
Open the wings.
ほんとうは、どう体を下にして、つばさが水平になるくらいまで広げます。
できあがり！つばさを左右に広げて、まっすぐにととのえたら、できあがり！

あそびかたHow to play

どう体を持って、少し上に向けて、やさしく前へ押し出すように投げます。高い所からそっと投げると、ゆっくり長く飛びます。人に向けて投げないでね。

Hold the body, point the nose a little up, and gently push the plane forward. Launch it softly from a high place and it will glide slowly and far. Never throw it at people.
