折り方How to fold

1. 1

   ふちとふちを合わせて半分に折り、折りすじをつける（2回）

   Fold the square in half edge to edge both ways, and unfold.

2. 2

   四つの角を、まん中に合わせて折る（ざぶとん折り）

   Fold all four corners to the center.

3. 3

   上と下のふちを、まん中の線に合わせて折り、開く

   Fold the top and bottom edges to the center line, then unfold.

4. 4

   左と右のふちも、まん中の線に合わせて折り、開く

   Fold the left and right edges to the center line, then unfold.

5. 5

   左と右の三角を開く

   Unfold the left and right triangles.

6. 6

   細長い紙を、たて半分に折る

   Fold the strip in half lengthwise.

7. 7

   もう一度、たて半分に折る

   Fold it in half lengthwise again.

8. 8

   両はしを折って折りすじをつける（持ち手の足になる）

   Fold both ends and unfold. These parts become the legs of the handle.

9. 9

   両はしから、はこの高さのところにも折りすじをつける（さしこむ深さの目じるし）

   Make another crease near each end, as far from the end as the box is tall. This shows how deep the legs go.

10. 10

    持ち手を、はこの紙の上に置く

    Place the handle across the box paper.

11. 11

    箱の形に組み立てて、持ち手の足を左右のかべの内側に差しこむ

    Shape the box, then push the legs of the handle into the left and right walls.

    箱の組み立て方は「ますのはこ」と同じです。

12. 

    できあがり！かごのできあがり！ 持ち手の足を、左右のかべの内側のすきまに、しっかり差しこみましょう。

    Finished! Your basket is finished! Push the ends of the handle firmly into the gaps inside the left and right walls.
