Tips for Challenge models
Use bigger, thinner paper
15 cm paper is too small for thin legs. Try 24 cm or larger, thin paper. Foil paper holds its shape well.
Pre-crease everything
Before a collapse, put in every mountain and valley crease. The paper will almost fold itself.
Go slowly where it is thick
Where many layers stack up, fold the inner layers first, a little at a time. For a reverse fold, pre-crease it as a valley fold first.
A failed model is a great teacher
Unfold a failed model and you will see a map of creases (a crease pattern). Compare it with the practice sheet on the model page.
