Welcome to the Inconvenience Store

There used to be a 7-Eleven in downtown Seattle.

Now the store has a new name: the Inconvenience Store.

It looks like a convenience store, but it is really an art show.

About 70 local artists made the things on the shelves.

You can buy a USB cord that is already tangled.

There are bags made from old snack packages.

There is also a fake corn dog with googly eyes.

And there is a "landline iPhone" that only plays one U2 song.

Prices go from one dollar to 10,000 dollars.

The store officially opened on September 19, 2026.

It is open on weekends and will stay until mid-2027.

So why make it inconvenient?

The store says, "Art is inherently inconvenient."

Artists do things the hard way.
