目安 4分How Streaming Changed Television
Twenty years ago, most people watched TV programs at the times set by broadcasting companies. If they missed a program, they had to record it or wait for it to be shown again. Today, streaming services allow viewers to watch shows whenever and wherever they like, on TVs, computers, or smartphones. This has led to a new habit called binge-watching, in which people watch many episodes of a series in a row.
Streaming companies have also changed the way programs are made. They collect data about what viewers watch, when they stop watching, and which scenes they play again. By using this data, they decide which programs to produce and can create shows that appeal to specific audiences around the world. As a result, dramas from countries such as South Korea and Spain have become international hits, reaching viewers who would never have seen them in the past.
However, streaming has also created new problems. As more companies start their own services, viewers need to pay for several services to watch all the shows they want, which can become expensive. In addition, the huge number of choices can be a problem. Some studies suggest that users spend a long time searching for something to watch and sometimes give up without watching anything at all.

Yes. I think many people spend too much time watching videos. Streaming services and video sites automatically play the next video, so it is hard to stop. As a result, people have less time for sleeping and studying.
