How to make a Newspaper SlipperしんぶんしのスリッパNewspaper Slipper

A slipper you can really wear, folded from one page of newspaper. It is about 28 cm (11 in) long, big enough for an adult foot. Fold two for a pair.

How to fold

上下半分に折って、折りすじをつける
Fold in half from top to bottom and unfold.
上と下のふちを、まん中の線に合わせて折る
Fold the top and bottom edges to the center line.
うらがえす
Turn it over.
右のはしを、左へ折りかえす（つま先のカバーになる）
Fold the right end over to the left to make the toe cover.
カバーの長さは、全体の半分より少し短いくらいです。
つま先の2つの角を、うしろへ折る
Fold the two corners of the toe behind.
つま先がまるくなります。
かかとの2つの角も、うしろへ折る
Fold the two corners of the heel behind too.
カバーを少し起こして、足を入れる所をつくる
Lift the toe cover a little to make room for your foot.
できあがり！つま先のカバーの下に足を入れたら、スリッパのできあがり！子どもの足には、かかとのはしをもう少し大きくうしろへ折って、長さを合わせます。
Finished! Slide your foot under the toe cover, and your slipper is finished! For a child's foot, fold more of the heel end behind to make it shorter.

How to play

お客さんが来たときや、ひなんじょなどで、スリッパのかわりに使えます。新聞紙はすべりやすいので、階段でははかないでね。
