Bamboo shoots break through the ground. They grow so fast that a shoot can rise noticeably within a single day, and they must be dug and boiled quickly or they turn bitter.
たけのこが地面を突き破って出てくる。一日でも伸びが分かるほど成長が早く、掘ったらすぐ茹でないとえぐみが出る。
