Ⅳ 次の物語を読み、設問に答えよ

Emma stood at the edge of the stage, holding her violin so tightly that her fingers hurt. Her heart was pounding. Through a gap in the curtain, she peeked at the audience and spotted her father in the third row. He gave her a small nod. Last year, she had forgotten the notes halfway through her piece and run off the stage. She still remembered the silence and the sound of her own footsteps. "You'll be fine," whispered Mr. Lee, her teacher. Emma tried to smile, but her lips were trembling. When her name was called, she walked to the center of the stage and began to play. At first her bow shook, but slowly the music carried her away. She forgot the audience, the lights, even last year. When the last note faded, there was a moment of silence. Then the hall filled with applause. Emma let out a long sigh and looked at her father. He was on his feet, clapping harder than anyone. She beamed and bowed deeply.
