The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit

This is a fierce bad Rabbit; look at his savage whiskers, and his claws and his turned-up tail.これは、らんぼうでわるいウサギです。こわそうなひげと、つめと、ぴんと上をむいたしっぽを見てごらんなさい。

This is a nice gentle Rabbit.これは、やさしくておとなしいウサギです。 His mother has given him a carrot.お母さんから、ニンジンをもらいました。

The bad Rabbit would like some carrot.わるいウサギは、ニンジンがほしくなりました。

He doesn't say "Please."わるいウサギは「ちょうだい」と言いません。 He takes it!とってしまうのです！

And he scratches the good Rabbit very badly.そして、いいウサギをひどくひっかきます。

He comes creeping up behind the trees.男の人は、木のうしろからそっと近づいていきます。

And then he shoots—Bang!そして、うちます――バーン！
