原因があれば It turned out that も。
A few weeks later, the man went back to the shop.
The family was having lunch in the park when it suddenly started to rain.
realized/found/noticed の後ろで使う。When she got to the station, she realized that she had left her ticket at home.
- 吹き出しは間接話法が強い直接話法でもOK(2級の公式サンプルの模範解答も直接話法を使っている)。 Let's take a taxi." → She suggested that they take a taxi.
He said to his wife, "I'll be home late tonight."
A sign said that 〜 で拾い、中身も過去形にそろえる。"Closed today" → A sign said that the shop was closed that day.
looked surprised/disappointed/relieved/upset。When she saw the long line, she looked disappointed.
ほかに was thinking about 〜ing/was looking forward to 〜ing。He was imagining himself standing on the stage.
It turned out that he had set the alarm for the wrong time. He looked very embarrassed.
The weather forecast on TV said that it would rain that afternoon.
the woman / her husband / their son
- 分からない物は用途で言う名前が出ない物は a device for 〜ing/a place where 〜 で説明すればOK。a machine for making ice / a place where people can rent bikes

He said, "Let's try the new restaurant."
増減は The number of で
The number of 〜 increased/decreased.
A few months later, the number of customers had increased a lot.
He must have left his wallet at home.

The next weekend, they were planting tomatoes in their plot. A sign at the entrance said that people should water their plants every day. The husband was imagining a dinner table full of tomato dishes.
Two months later, the tomatoes were starting to turn red. An elderly man in the next plot told the husband that he should put a net over them because birds loved tomatoes. However, the husband just laughed and didn't seem worried.
The next morning, the couple went to the garden and found that birds had eaten most of their tomatoes. The plot next to theirs was safe under a net. The husband looked embarrassed, and his wife was very disappointed.
